Can someone confirm that I can still cancel if PIF date hasn’t passed

Hi I’m not paid in full for a August 17th cruise on the Dream. Our PIF date is 6/18. We are not PIF but if I DO pay in full but we want to cancel before that PIF date will I get a full refund? I always feel Ike if I pay off my balance completely, that’s it! I’m done and I can’t cancel my cruise. Lol

I admit that I’m thinking that it’s possible they push back And cancel the August cruises and if I’m PIF they would then give me a 125% credit. We are really leery about going and two members in our family are military and have “ can’t leave the area” in place for now but we won’t know until closer to August about whether that would still be in effect. It’s such a difficult decision and I wish Disney would give us August cruisers more info About what to expect if we are cruising in August. I know safest thing to do is just move our trip probably.

so other question is if we want to move our trip to say December do I have to cancel and rebook or can the move over all the money we’ve already put down for the August cruise to a December Cruise??

Yes, you can still cancel your cruise as long as you do it before the PIF date

If you cancel prior to your Paid in Full date, you get a full refund, except if you've booked Concierge. Then the deposit is forfeited.

You will get the entire portion back, assuming you are not concierge. We had to do this in the past, and when they noticed it was PIF, asked me if I just wanted to move to another date. I received my refund later that week. Good luck with whatever you decide!

You can even cancel after PIF, but you will lose the deposit, plus more as the cruise date becomes closer.

The important thing is to cancel or pay in full by the PIF date. Otherwise Disney will cancel it for you and keep the deposit. I made that mistake once.

I wrestled with this. I was booked on a Sept 4th Cruise. My PIF was June 6. I wish I had 2 months for PIF, but mine was 90 days. I was too stressed about flying. I changed it to an end of October Bermuda cruise. Good luck!
