Can someone confirm re: Hungry Bear

Thanks for posting this, I'm willing to try the sweet potato fries just to see but by the looks of the tomato sandwhich I may not have room for a side anyway, but DH probably won't like them. Does anyone know if the slaw has onions in it and if so could they be picked out easily? Thanks.

I do not remember onions, but I couldn't swear that there weren't any.

I think its nice to have a place in Disney where there's something for those who are sick of plain old potato fries. Lunch at HB was awesome. We tried all three sides and they were all wonderful. There are still plenty of places in the park with regular fries.

I love eating there since they changed menuss. The tomato sandwich is yummy. I love all three sides. But the slaw is my favorite. I don't usually care for slaw but theres is different from any slaw I have ever tasted.

I would just ask for the slaw if you don't care for any of the options. The sandwich is pretty filling without any of the sides and you just might like it.

I so second this! Sometimes it's hard to find healthier foods at the park, and the slaw made me feel a lot better about eating the chicken sandwich. Plus it was cool and refreshing, perfect on a hot day. I love when you get more than the standard park faire.

It all sounds YUMMY to me...Always loved the atmosephere at HB....now sounds like I might like the food too. Yay!

OOoh, I love sweet potato fries! Sweet potatoes are just so healthy for you ...... of course, deep frying them probably takes SOME of those nutrients out, but it's a price I'm willing to pay .... :)

I guess I don't go to Disneyland to eat like I could at the McDonald's down the street. Even my DD, who is a fairly picker eater, loves Disney World food (Teppon Edo in Epcot is her favorite and she's become a huge fan of sushi and salmon). And I honestly think part of the initial charm was eating something different at Disney because we were in a special fun place. But, definitely, to each his own!
