We have a group of 6 going, 2 of which are my mom and dad who do NOT like Space Mountain. DD is close to the height requirement, so depending on how she measures that day, can she use my mom or dad's FP+ band to use their fastpass for the ride? They don't need their SM fastpass, but there's no point in getting them a third they WOULD use b/c they don't want to go off on their own.

DD does not have a FP for SM because her third was used for A&E meet-n-greet.

Thanks!

Yes, we just got back and did just this. My oldest daughter decided she didn't want to ride Star Tours again, so my DH and my youngest used their bands to fastpass. When they got off, my oldest daughter and I gave them our bands and they rode it again while she and I did Great Movie Ride.

Thanks y'all! Just wanted to make sure we weren't doing anything wrong by doing this. I appreciate your responses!

So they don't have any way of telling whether the person presenting the magic band is the one who is supposed to have it? I've been contemplating this too, as my DD is tall enough for a lot of rides but too chicken to ride them. It would be really nice for her Daddy and I to be able to add her FP to our own plus baby swap and get to ride multiple times.

My buddy and his wife happen to be there at the same time, they had Rock and Roller Coaster FP's and she ended up not wanting to ride it so she gave it to me to wear, it was Pink so I automatically got worried lol.. When I went thru the first Que, it gave the green Mickey and as I walked off the CM said you know ur MB says Tina and I told him what was going on and he said no prob, the 2nd CM check point didn't say a thing. So I think they expect that it goes on with no problems

In many cases, yes, the FP+ CM's DO have a way to see that the person wearing the band is not the person for whom the band is registered.

Such as the name coming up on the CM's MagicBand display screen says, "Mary Lou" and a 295 lb. linebacker-type guy is wearing the band.
Or a 30-something gal's MagicBand reads that the wearer of that band should be 8 years old.

But, the FP+ CM's don't care if you've swapped with someone.

We just got back and did this all the time for Rock Roller coaster and Tower of Terror!
