That's what my Boss said he is a GM man. But then he said he would buy my trucks.

I still think 5 to 6 just seems a couple of mpg low unless you're towing at 70 to 75 or are in the mountains

70 is the speed limit and Florida does have some big hills. My wife pulled the trailer coming back from the Hill country this summer and she was only going 65 mph she got 7 mpg.
