Can my DD (age 12) pay out-of-pocket for a kids meal even though she's on adult DDP?

We are a family of 4 (DH54, Twin DD's12, me 48) staying at CSR in Oct. and we have purchased the DDP. This will be our 3rd experience with the DDP, we loved it in the past. But, one my my DD's would prefer to eat from the kids menu. Can we purchase her a Table Service KIDS meal "out-of-pocket" and save her TS credit to use at another time? My concern is that they will deduct her TS credit anyway?
We received free dining in Sept. 07 and purchased it in Oct. 06.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this in the past.
Thanks.

My dd10 did this for a few ts meals. We paid OOP. They did not deduct a ts credit.

We did this for our DS12 last Aug and plan to again this Mar. He just doesn't like the "adult" options most of the time! :confused3 We just advised the server in advance that we would be buiying a kids meal for him and paying OOP.

Thanks for the info. We'll order off the kids menu for her and use her TS credits for character meals!

Another option is to get an adult sized portion of a kids meal. We do this for our son.

Only works at non-buffet type restuarants. At buffets and family-style meals, your 12 year old will be charged as an adult regardless of what she eats. I plan to do this also with my 11 year old DS. He orders kids meals at a few of the non-buffet table services restaurants, so I am paying OOP and saving his credit for another day.
