Can local relatives pick up cruise passengers for the day during PC port stop

A friend of mine is sailing on RCL out of NJ. They have a port stop at Port Canaveral for the day. They have local family.

Is it possible for the local family to enter the Port with their vehicle to pick them up for the day and then bring them back to the ship?

If so, can anyone help with the logistics of this (generally).

Haven't done it with RCL but bon't see why you couldn't. We've picked up crew members and their family that we're friends with from DCL for the day while they're in port, no problem. You'll just need to figure out which dock they're at and schedule the time to get them.
