Can I visit DQ or PI without using my hopper pass?

I am sure this is a silly question, but we have a one use Pleasure Island or DisneyQuest admission attached to our 3-day park hopper cards.

We will arrive at WDW on a Friday noon. Our checkout is Monday. I have come to realize that I can have Disney send our luggage to the airport at checkout time. And that if we do not use the park tickets that Friday, we can use them instead on Monday. And after we have spent most of the day at the park, we can board a shuttle for the airport that evening. If we use the card Friday, we get about 5 hours at the park. If we use the cards on Monday, we get about 10 hours.

So my question is can we use the PI/DQ option for Friday night and still use the card for park hopping Saturday, Sunday, and Monday?

Yeah, a call to Disney will settle this quickly...
:rolleyes1

There is a entrance fee to both of these places...I believe DQ is somewhere around $30, although I could be wrong. PI has a set price as well. So, yes you can go without the hoppers, you'll just have to pay the entrance.

That depends on what kind of ticket you actually have.

---------------------------------------
If you have a 3-day Magic Your Way pass with the Plus Pack, then you have two Plus features which can each be used as a one-day admission to a water park, Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest, or Disney's Wide World of Sports complex. The Plus feature is completely sepperate from the park-hopping days and does not count as a day of park admission.
---------------------------------------
If you one of the older 3-day Park Hopper PLUS passes, then you have one Plus feature which can be used as a one-day admission to a water park, Pleasure Island, or the Wide World of Sports complex. Plus features from the older Park Hopper PLUS passes cannot be used for admission to DisneyQuest. The Plus feature is completely sepperate from the park-hopping days and does not count as a day of park admission.
---------------------------------------
If you bought a package sometime last year and opted for a 3-day Ultimate Park Hopper pass, then you have unlimited admission to all the theme parks, water parks, DisneyQuest, Pleasure Island, and the Wide World of Sports complex.
---------------------------------------

If you already have your park passes in hand, then they are not Ultimate Park Hopper passes, which are not sepperate cards but are only included on your room key.

If you have your passes in hand already, you can simply read the back of the pass to find out exactly which kind of pass it is.

If you go to PI or DQ on Friday and do not go into any of the big theme parks, then you consume the plus but do not consume a "day" on Friday. Now you can spend Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in the theme parks using the three "days" on your ticket.

In addition to the possibilities described above, there are some promotional (nonstandard) tickets that have just one plus that can be used for Disney Quest as well. If you have this kind of three day ticket you can use the plus for either DQ or PI but not both.

There are still other promotional passes that have the three theme park days days and also some PI/waterpark plusses and also one DQ only plus. Yes, two flavors of plusses. With this pass you can visit both DQ and PI on any of your (four) vacation days.
