We are DVC members staying at the wilderness lodge (non-dvc in Aug). I love the quiet pool. Can we use the DVC pool even though we are not staying DVC this trip?

As long as it isn't a "non-pool hopping time" I think you should be able to use the pool. Just inquire at the front desk and have your DVC member card ready.

Good question. We are members and are staying for a few nights off site this summer and will be staying on site as well. Can we use the pools if we're not even staying on site?

Pool hopping rules are that you must be staying at a DVC resort. However, at shared resorts like WL/VWL most recreational facilites are shared by both resorts, I don't think the quiet pool is a DVC only pool.

Unlike some other timeshares, local DVC members do not have acces rights to resort facilities unless they are staying onsite at a DVC resort.

Sorry my bad, I agree with Chuck. For some reason I thought the OP was staying off site. No need to show anything. All guest of WL can use that pool.

Okay, I kind of figured that. We prob won't have time anyway and we'll be able to do it when we are staying at DVC so it's no biggie-I was just wondering if that option was available.

The quiet pool at WL isn't a "DVC pool". Both pools are open to anyone staying at WL or VWL.

Yes you can. Make sure you have your DVC card with you.

That is what I thought. There will only be two of us, so if it is busy we will use the main pool.

I am staying on-site at WL wanting to use VWL pool. They don't have lifeguards...who would check? I just didn't want to break the rules. I am a DVC member.

I think some of yall are confused. :confused3

The OP is staying at the WL, she will have access to both pools, irregardless if she is a DVC member or not. That is a moot point. She will not need her member card or resort ID to use the pool.

You're right, the "non-DVC" threw me off.
