Can I upgrade a ticket I received from credit card rewards at gate?

I'm thinking of using points from credit card rewards to "buy" my Universal tickets. The problem is that they only offer 1 day park-to-park, and I want 2 day tickets. If I get the 1-day through the credit card, will I have a problem upgrading to a 2 day at the gate? I don't want to end up paying for two separate days if you know what I mean. Thanks for any info!

You will need to go to Guest Services to upgrade the ticket.

Thanks. I'm just nervous that they are special tickets that can't be upgraded. I called Universal, and the agent said as long as "Comp" isn't on the ticket (for complimentary) then it can be. I guess since I'd be using points it wouldn't be a comp ticket.

I'm pretty sure "comp" tickets are given out as as special perks and therefore have no cash value. You should be fine.
