I would like to take a few bottles of waters, individual bagged diaquries and a bottle of wine in my Check in luggage. Will this be a problem?

:) DH and I did this for several trips with his Monster drinks. I bubble wrapped them and placed them in a small cooler in his check in bag. We never had an accident or problem.

Do not think I would pack glass like a wine bottle, even with wrapping it well. Bags and plastic bottles, yes.

We have brought a few cans of our Diet Coke in our checked luggage before - we MUST have our Diet Coke in the AM, like most people drink their coffee! Fountain soda doesn't cut it for us....We just doublebagged them in gallon sized zip lock bags and have never had a problem.

watch weight of luggage, if you are using a larger suitcase. Wine and water add #'s quickly.

Yes, but if they burst, a lot of people will hate you - pack them well :)

Wrap in a towel. Then put it inside a large Ziploc baggie. Rewrap in another towel....and into a yet larger Ziploc bag. And then, stuff it into the middle of your clothing so it's away from the edges of the bag.
Yes, it's a pain. But...you don't want wine (or soda or anything else) all over your belongings as well as on other people's.
And yes, watch the weight. That stuff adds up quickly. Have you considered just doing an online grocery delivery?

I have packed glass bottles wrapped in bubble wrap and then double zip loc bagged and wrapped clothes around, packed it in the middle of my luggage. Never a problem.

I packed some juice boxes and plastic bottles of ready to drink formula. I put them in a ziplock then in a Tupperware container. No problems. just watch the weight.

Glass is OK. Just pad it and then put it in a plastic bag that will resist leaking.

I think you might be surprised at the number of people who have to pack glass bottles in their checked baggage!! IF you buy bottled liquor on a cruise or at a destination during a cruise, it has to go in your checked baggage. I think you might be surprised how many people buy liquor and do this...
Or perfume too!!!! :thumbsup2

I was bringing wine to my aunt in Florida, and bought a product called a WineCheck. They have their own website, and it was on amazon and brookstone, too. Padded, zippered, wheeled bag, and you put a wine shipper box inside of it and the styrofoam forms to hold everything in place. It worked beautifully, though at some point between Seattle and Orlando something blue and really smelly was dumped on it.

When I had to change the wine to my carryon (we were going on a Disney cruise and you have to carry it on) I used the Wine Diaper products and put them in my rolling carryon.

I've used a product called a Wineskin. Bought them through Amazon. It's a one use product, but is basically bubble wrap with a heavy vinyl covering in the shape of a wine bottle and it seals nicely. I packed 2 bottles of wine for a cruise and the bottles made it safely from Chicago to Vancouver in my checked bags.
