Can I start with less than 150?

I am considering purchasing into DVC, but I don't know if I can take the plunge for what 150 points would cost to start. I have seen some posts which indicate you can purchase less than 150 points through the resale market, even as an initial purchase. Is this correct?

Hey Joe,

I actually started a thread about this a couple of days ago. The consensus is that you can fly under Disney's radar by using a reseller and possibly buy into DVC without having a minimum of 150 points.

But, if you are purchasing directly through Disney, then the minimum stands. You can't change that.
