I have points that will expire 5/31/08, they cannot be banked. Is there anyway I can save them? Thanks for your help.

I don't think so, you are beyond your trade out window. You might be able to deposit them into Interval International, but I'm not sure.

Have you considered booking a short-stay (3-6 nights) through the World Passport Collection or perhaps Concierge Collection?

There are reports that if you call, ask nicely and pledge to name your first born child after the CM, that there is a super-secret one-time-only bank unbankable points exception.

I have no idea if it's true or not, but if all else fails, it can't hurt to call and ask.

It was true years ago, I don't recall seeing any recent testaments to this option.

Another option might to be "trade" with another member where they use your points now and give you points later to use. Another would be to reserve something and try to rent it short notice. You're obviously extremely short so I think begging for mercy might be the only real option.

Since the OP is within the last four months of the UY, aren't they limited to DL or DVC resorts?

how many points are you talking about?

if a lot - definitely go beg - but if under 50 points - you don't want to lose your one time only saving.

SpiceyKat, it's 163 points!!!!! I think I may beg and try to bribe!!! Just Kidding about the bribe part. Thanks all for your responses.

I sure hope this works out for you. If you could transfer them, can someone else bank them? I know last year or year before, this was possible, with the new computer system I don't know if that is a option or not anymore. :confused3 Transferred points can be banked.

The Interval International is probably your best chance. I believe they can be deposited but are a "late deposit". This means you can only book with them 59 days before arrival (or approximately that timeframe -- doing this from memory).

in that case just might go rent them.

at least you will have the money if not the points.
