Can I return rental car early? Need help ASAP

Budget's same day rental is more expensive than a one day rental. Can I sign up for a one day and then just return it the same day or is there an early return fee (or any other penalty) for doing this? Thanks!!

You need to read the rental agreement.There may be a clause if you return early. I know my rental states I have to keep the car over a Saturday Night. If I return earliet I will have to pay what it would have been without keeping it over a Saturday Night. So it is important to read all the fine print.

I agree. Car rental agencies are smart. They realize that people are trying to get the best rates. If you don't meet the terms of your rental they will charge you the higher rate.
