Can I request a room location when I'm renting points??

We are staying at BCV April 28th - May 2, four wonderful nights!!!
We rented points from a DVC owner and the man I'm renting form asked for an Epcot view for me. I would like to also ask for the 5th floor. Should I try to add this to my request or take my chances and ask when I get there???

They will note any special room requests on your reservation, but it is not guaranteed.
I stayed at BCV in Sept. and requested an Epcot view in advance..even noted on our confirmation but we ended up on the first floor with no Epcot view.
There have been many other times, though that our requests have been met. My advice would be have them make note of all your room requests on your reservation but just don't expect it to be guaranteed.
