Can I plan a trip in a week??? BIG NEWS pg 5!

WHERE ARE YOU FRIEND?????? I hope that you are all doing o.k. and that you are just really busy!

Oh Grace, no offense, but I saw a post from Lynn's PTR and thought it was her!!!! I do hope you had a nice Easter though ;)

Happy Easter Lynn!!!!!

Thanks guys for checking in on me! :grouphug:

Dan was off Monday and Tuesday and I was off Wednesday and Thursday for our nanny to have time off while her family was in town. Dan's mom, brother and nephew got into town Friday morning just before 7 am. They left last night just after 8 and it was a BUSY weekend. I could go straight home tonight and go to bed...

Corbin only has a t -ball practice this week so I should have some time. Thursday's our anniversary so I'm sure Dan's got all kinds of big plans....:rotfl::rotfl2: (not really!) I'm hoping for a nice quiet weekend to get all caught up with my two TRs so I can start ANOTHER PTR!! :cool1: I just need to figure out my dates!

I'd forgotten that you were having company over Easter. Did you have a nice visit with everyone? I understand about wanting to sleep after company leaves. It's a LOT of work entertaining people. Thank goodness for ONLY t-ball practice.
Happy Anniversary!!! How many years will it be?? I'm sure Dan will have something planned. :rolleyes1
Hey, btw, I got my JCPenny job back today. I have to refile and application, but that's no big deal, and then I'll be on my way to having a little extra cash in my pocket!

Well lets see....we met (and got pregnant :rolleyes1) in 2003, had Corbin in 2004, got married in 2005, had Carter in 2006, put our house up for sale in 2007 and moved in 2008. Every year it's something! :rotfl:

I don't know...I'm not holding my breath for anything honestly. I'm going on my lunch one day this week to get Dan new golf clubs. Our limit is $20 but we've got a golf store going out of business and Dan stopped in over the weekend with his brother and said the clubs were 80% off. I guess (I'm not a golfer and really don't plan to become one!) that means I can get him a decent set of clubs for $50 or $100 and since he's playing again on Saturday I guess it would make sense! :goodvibes That will be his third golf game in a week!

I guess everyone had a good time. Dan's mom said his brother can't wait to come back so that's good. We'll see if they actually make it back. Only time will tell. We would like everyone to come down for Christmas this year (maybe the week after so they can have Christmas there with other family - inlaws or whatever) so we'll see how that goes over! :rotfl:I'm not holding my breath for it but we're not going to MI this year for Christmas - our August trip will be our only trip up there this year unless something happens. My goal is to have all of my Christmas shopping done for everyone in MI by the time we go up in August so I don't have to ship anything anywhere. I've already started so hopefully I'll make the goal!

Other than that, my life's been revolving around "learning" the "right" way to use coupons. I've been saving between $50 and $150/shopping trip with them so it's certainly paying off! It takes a little time to figure out how to use the coupons with the sales and stuff but it's worth it for us!

I went to get stuff on sale from Easter yesterday and got everything for Corbin's goody bags at Walmart on clearance which is great! Now I'll just have to get the paper products, invites/thank yous and the cakes and we'll be all set! He changed from a pirate: theme to a sports theme so I'm thinking I might just make cupcakes and decorate them like balls unless I can find a cute cake that I like. Now Carter wants a pirate: / Nemo (shishes) party...that should be interesting! (he calls it a "hook shishes" party!)

So I didn't know you weren't at Penny's anymore! I must have missed that. Glad you're able to get back there though. Extra money's always nice. The other department called again with openings so Dan's working some Saturdays over there so we can go to Disney in September and just have "extra" money. It's really nice to be able to do that.

alright....I should get some work done. Tonight's t-ball practice so we'll see if I have to go or not. I got Corbin some cleats at a kid's resale store yesterday for $5 AND they light up when he runs! He wouldn't take them off last night and wanted to go out in the pouring rain to "try them out"! :rotfl: I also got him a little thing to practice throwing the ball at so I'm sure he's at home playing with it today.

Update soon - I promise!

So one of my best friends in the world needs a weekend away. I've tried to sneak her away for other weekends but things always come up and it never works out. Well, this morning I came in and asked what time she'd be willing to get up on Saturday and go to Disney with me for the Flower and Garden Festival. Once we got through the tears, she agreed so now we're trying to "work" and plan our trip for the weekend! WOOHOO!!!

This will be my first trip ANYWHERE without children. The ONLY time my boys have EVER been away from me was when Corbin stayed for a night with Dan's mom when I had Carter...other than that, always with me (or with Dan while I was still in the hospital). I'm hoping we'll be so busy that we just won't have time to think about anything and miss them too much. This will also be my first trip to Disney for the Flower and Garden stuff - I'm so excited for this! I cannot wait to be able to actually stop and look at things without kids crawling all over or having to hustle along because I don't want Dan and the boys to have to wait.

I'm so hoping this all comes together...it's looking good right now - I just need to keep it on pace. More later! :cool1:
