My guess is that you are half way there!!
Hey!! We're here! Since we have internet access at the hotel (it magically works for Dan and not for me when I tried all morning long waiting for people to wake up!) I thought I'd give you a quick update while we're waiting for our friend's plane to land.
FIRST - BABY UPDATE!!! I'm hoping to have a better update soon. As of this morning/early afternoon, they were inducing labor and are hoping to have a baby tonight or tomorrow. There were some problems with the baby's heartbeat so that's why this decision was made. As soon as I hear anything, I'll be sure to share! (I'm hoping maybe I'll be "Auntie Lynn"!!!!)
Ok - so Disney update!!
We managed to get on the road by 4:45 last night and I was driving. I had full intentions to be here by 9:30. Well, we no more than got almost to GA and a light came on on the dashboard.....

And it was windy....not good conditions for me to drive in. So the prayers began.....PLEASE let us get to Disney without having to rent a car and tow the van home....PLEASE!
Dan stopped at
Walmart and got some oil thinking maybe it was low but the light's still on this morning. We've talked to a couple of people and read the mannual and it could either be that we got worse than "normal" gas milage or the air filter's dirty. Dan said they mentioned that last time he got the oil changed but they didn't have the right one to replace it.
So I was up at 4 this morning waiting for the rest of the room to wake up. Check in went good last night - I think we got a decent deal considering people that were checking in at the same time as me were told the "normal" rate was $109/night but they could lower it to $79 since they wanted three rooms then wound up lowering it to $69/night since they booked two nights. We paid $31/night plus $10/day in parking and "hotel" fees....

I gave the guy my printed confirmation when he needed the number last night and forgot to get it back....when we went and asked for it this morning, they didn't have it...
As we were packing for the park this morning (we meaning I

), I realized what I forgot. For those who've read any other TR, you know I always forget something. Usually it's something silly like my pjs or something. This time it was Corbin's bag of medicine!

Thankfully we've never had to actually use anything (praying we don't need to this time!) and the benedryl and epipen I always keep an extra in my van so we've got the basics at least. I'm so frustrated with myself for forgetting something that import though!
So, we hit DHS this morning to try and ride TSM. We got there at least half an hour early and the lines were already back to where you buy tickets/will call windows. I knew it wasn't going to be a "good" day at that point. Of course we picked the "wrong" line since the machine didn't read the tickets so it took way longer than it should have to even get in. The "rope drop" was a bit different this morning since it was/is ESPN weekend. I have NO - ZERO - NONE interest in ESPN. As we're walking in I can feel my normal Disney cry coming on. Dan's all excited because it's Sports Center or something crazy like that...I have no clue honestly. Dan saw some guy (Schwab maybe) and we stopped so he could get a picture with him. Then it was off to TSM. HOLY CATS! When we got in line - literally at park opening, the wait was 55 minutes. By the time we got to the point of entering the building, the wait was 70 minutes. When we passed by about an hour later, the wait was up to 90 minutes. The fastpass line was unreal even first thing this morning - I swear it was as long as the line for the ride!!
So we rode the ride and walked past Mater and McQueen - the line was too long for me to justify waiting knowing we'd be back with Chris, Amy and Austin. So, we headed off to the ESPN Play Zone (I think that was the name!). We signed our lives away to get the boys a little bracelet so they could play the games. We watched the Harlem Globetroters (we'd seen a couple earlier walking into the fastpass line for TSM at park opening) for a few minutes and Corbin was very impressed and has decided he's going to learn those tricks.
In the ESPN thing, they had the ESPN radio booth and we got to see them interview Scottie Pipen and some football guy (Dan knew who he was). Corbin got to kick soccer balls, throw footballs, shoot hoops and some other "sport-ish" things. He said the shooting hoops was his favorite thing from the morning. Go figure - we come to Disney and his favorite thing is something he can do in our driveway!
We came back to the hotel and went swimming for about an hour. Carter gave in and took a nap for about an hour and a half....Corbin not so much. I think he forgot to pack his listening ears for this trip.
Alright....I'm going to put some pictures in here as well - Please don't think this is my TR. So not the case. I even brought my "old" camera and took some video of Carter in the pool this afternoon. Once I figure out how to post that, you'll have to listen to his laugh! It's so contagious with his excitement!!
