Well lets see....we met (and got pregnant

) in 2003, had Corbin in 2004, got married in 2005, had Carter in 2006, put our house up for sale in 2007 and moved in 2008.

Every year it's something!
I don't know...I'm not holding my breath for anything honestly. I'm going on my lunch one day this week to get Dan new golf clubs. Our limit is $20 but we've got a golf store going out of business and Dan stopped in over the weekend with his brother and said the clubs were 80% off. I guess (I'm not a golfer and really don't plan to become one!) that means I can get him a decent set of clubs for $50 or $100 and since he's playing again on Saturday I guess it would make sense!

That will be his third golf game in a week!
I guess everyone had a good time. Dan's mom said his brother can't wait to come back so that's good. We'll see if they actually make it back. Only time will tell. We would like everyone to come down for Christmas this year (maybe the week after so they can have Christmas there with other family - inlaws or whatever) so we'll see how that goes over!

I'm not holding my breath for it but we're not going to MI this year for Christmas - our August trip will be our only trip up there this year unless something happens. My goal is to have all of my Christmas shopping done for everyone in MI by the time we go up in August so I don't have to ship anything anywhere. I've already started so hopefully I'll make the goal!
Other than that, my life's been revolving around "learning" the "right" way to use coupons. I've been saving between $50 and $150/shopping trip with them so it's certainly paying off! It takes a little time to figure out how to use the coupons with the sales and stuff but it's worth it for us!
I went to get stuff on sale from Easter yesterday and got everything for Corbin's goody bags at
Walmart on clearance which is great! Now I'll just have to get the paper products, invites/thank yous and the cakes and we'll be all set! He changed from a

theme to a sports theme so I'm thinking I might just make cupcakes and decorate them like balls unless I can find a cute cake that I like. Now Carter wants a

/ Nemo (shishes) party...that should be interesting! (he calls it a "hook shishes" party!)
So I didn't know you weren't at Penny's anymore! I must have missed that. Glad you're able to get back there though. Extra money's always nice. The other department called again with openings so Dan's working some Saturdays over there so we can go to Disney in September and just have "extra" money. It's really nice to be able to do that.
alright....I should get some work done. Tonight's t-ball practice so we'll see if I have to go or not. I got Corbin some cleats at a kid's resale store yesterday for $5 AND they light up when he runs! He wouldn't take them off last night and wanted to go out in the pouring rain to "try them out"!

I also got him a little thing to practice throwing the ball at so I'm sure he's at home playing with it today.
Update soon - I promise!
