Can I make a reservation for people in our two rooms or just my own?

We have 2 rooms connecting booked at the Poly in feb. One is in my name and one is in my moms. We'll be dining together. Can I call in the am and make reservations for all 6 of us under my room reservation number or are they going to tell me I can only have a reservation for 3 since that's all that's registered to my room?

When we went in 2011 with family, we had 7 people in 3 rooms. I made all ADRs under my room reservation number. It is the only way to guarantee that you will be seated together. I didn't have any issues booking dining for 7 when our room was a party of 2. If you have 2 separate ADRs, even though they may be at the same time, I would imagine they would be prepared to seat you apart and not have a large enough table ready and if you asked to be seated together upon arrival, there may be a delay. Plus, sometimes people meet friends that live in the area who are not resort guests.
