I prefer to pay with my GCs at the POS so that I can keep track of my spending and not overdo it. Here's my solution:I would, but I don't want to carry around $1500 in gift cards. I'd rather have them loaded onto my Magicband with the ability to use that to charge (with the PIN number for security). The option mentioned earlier (paying them off at the POR lobby), works for me. I just don't want the limit to be something really low like $200. ONE meal at Disney can easily run our family of five over that amount. (Think Cape May's, 'Ohana, etc...) Hopefully its $1500 as previously mentioned so I don't have to constantly be going to the lobby to pay down our balance.
Again, thanks all for the replies. Very helpful.

- I usually load only $50-$100 at a time on the GC that I use in the parks (more if we are doing TS dining).
- I photograph the back of rest of my GCs (including the last digits and PIN which are located under the silver strip) with my phone and leave them at home. I only take 2 physical GCs with me.
- Then when I need more money, I use the manage my gift cards function on the disneygiftcard .com website to transfer funds from those photographed GCs to the physical GC that I have with me.
