Hi All - I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere (couldn't find it if it has), but I have friends in Orlando and want to have dinner with them when we're at WDW in Jan.

I have reservations at Yachtsman Steakhouse. They can come on site for dinner, correct? They just have to show ID or something at the gate?

Thanks!!

Yeah that should not be a problem.

Give them you ADR number just in case, but if you are eating at the hotel they should allow you to park. I have done this at the Kona many times.
They usually give you three hours to eat if I recall correctly.

They just have to inform the guard at the gate that they are having dinner at the Steakhouse and they will be let in. They may be asked for their reservation time, I believe this is done to try and discourage people from parking at the hotels and then traveling to the parks from there, hence avoiding the parking fee.

we did this several years ago at artist point, no problem! enjoy your visit w/your friends:yay:

Hi kanderson89,
It will not be a problem at all. I live locally and often meet friends who are in town for a meal. As others mentioned they will just say at the guard gate that they are meeting you or that they have a dinner reservation.

Good choice on Yachtsman! Yum Yum :thumbsup2 Have a wonderful trip and a great dinner with your friends. :cool1:
