We are considering TS restaurants for our trip in September. We've already settled on Primetime, Alfredo's, Le Cellier, and either CA Grill or Citricos. I need two more and I was considering Spoodles. I'd appreciate any comments or reviews from those in the know.

We ate at Spoodles our last night at WDW last year. The food was very good. I had the fetticini, which was very very good. They also had flat breads for appitizers, which were very good. I can't remember what everyone else ate, but i know they enjoyed it. the place is very nice and very clean. When we went it was pretty empty, except for maybe 5-6 other tables. I would definitely recommend it. :)

Spoodles is a MUST do each and every trip we take!!! The food is wonderful and if you time it right you can walk over to Epcot at the last minute and watch Illuinations! If your a wine drinker the Sangria there is worth going for! We always start out with the medditeranian(sp) dips, plus my DH will get a salad, then entrees, the salmon is always tasty and the steak last trip was fabulous!! Sometimes we'll order the dessert sampler for all of us(2 adults 3 kids) to share but really we prefer waiting till after Illuminations and then getting cake from the Bakery and sitting outside enjoying it!! Don't hesitate to go to Spoodles!

We discovered Spoodles for the first time last October. Very good! We'll definitely go back.

We have eaten at Spoodles every single trip since they opened and would not dream of missing it! Often, you will find us there 2 or 3 times, counting breakfast.

My family calls the 4 cheese flatbread "heaven on a plate"! I do wish they had not changed and narrowed down the entrees, but the ones that remain are very good. Be sure to save room for dessert! If you enjoy an adult beverage, I really like the Spoodle-rita.

Best place food wise we've eaten down there.

The Garlic Shrimp is definitely a meal plan type appetizer. It's very small and suitable only for one. At $10.25 it's steep if you're paying out of pocket. But it is extremely good and if you're on the plan, the entrees are big enough that you'll roll out of there anyway. If you're paying out of pocket and want to just get one appetizer for everyone try the Mediterranean Dips. They had a couple different types of Hummus and Olives that you could crush up and put on the flatbread. Yum Yum. For some reason, my son ended up with the adult 4 cheese flatbread Pizza as his appetizer. They've since put Pepperoni and plain cheese on the kid's appetizer menu. Good move. The 4 cheese was definitely an adult appetizer. Kid hated it. We loved it.

On to the Entrees.
My New York Strip was done exactly as I ordered it (medium rare)
The allowed the shrimp and scallop add ons on the meal plan. Wooohooo!!! The Scallops were perfectly done. Yummy. These didn't get passed around (we eat family style for the most part.) The shrimp got passed around. HEHE.
My son's steak was done exactly as ordered (Medium.)
Both were delicious. Had I been paying, I could have eaten the kid's steak and been perfectly happy with it. I'm glad they didn't give him a second class version like so many places do.
The Rigitoni was excellent. They also allowed add ons with this one. But the party ordering it is allergic to scallops so those didn't get added. The add ons here were integrated into the dish rather than on skewers like they were with my steak. They allowed em onto the meal plan.
But the dish that outshined em all was the Portuguese seafood stew. Yummy Yummy Yummy. Vaious fish and shellfish in a thin broth that was oh so delicious. If you hate spice, do not get it. You won't like this dish. This has some kick. Not too much but some.
On to the deserts.
Kiddo got the make your own sundae. It comes out on a big artist palate. He had a ball with it.
I got a chocolate, orange, pistacio cake. Yummy.
I'm not a big fan of creme brulee. This was done correctly. And i'm still not a big fan of it. The party that ordered it thought it was wonderful.
We had some sangria before dinner and the DW got a Blue Spoodle. Both were Yummy.

On to value.
If you are on the meal plan this is a great value even when they stop allowing the add ons.
If you are not on the meal plan and paying out of your pocket, it still can be a great value, BUT BE VERY CAREFUL. It's a place you can get out very reasonably or if you're not careful run up a California Grill type tab.

Oh, we are definitely on the meal plan. I booked reservations as soon as I heard about the Free Dining.

Thanks to all of you so much! I was on the fence about Spoodles, but now I think we'll definitely include it in our itinerary.

Now, to find one more restaurant....

We have been eating at Spoodles since it opened. We enjoy it for breakfast and dinner. We were sorry when they discontinued the buffet breakfast. For dinner, the only meals that we have been disappointed with are meals that are chicken based. The chicken has always been dry. We have loved everything else!

Enjoy.

I didn't notice until after I posted my reply that you are also from Baltimore! Enjoy your trip.

We ate at Spoodles in September. We had the "free dining" promotion. I wasn't impressed at all. It was disappointing, since I had heard great things about it on these boards. Food was mediocre, service was awful. We were basically ignored by our server while he had more interesting and lengthy conversations with his other table.

I had the Rigatoni and it was dry and pasty. Yuck! Nothing about that place was what I had expected.

We won't be going back.

Now, Le Cellier was excellent! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
