I posted yesterday on the community board about getting healthy. I need to do it .. period end of story. I need some massive support and accountability.

I need to love 45lbs. I'll be happy to lose 18lbs first and move up to 30lbs and then to 45lbs.

I just :rotfl2: had a baby!! I weigh now what I did when he concieved. However we tried for 8 months and I ate like I was pregnant for 8 months. I was a little 'chubby' when we started at 165lbs and I don't even remember weighing anything in the 170's. I think I just jumped over it!!

I am a SAHM. That's either a blessing because I have a little time to buy, prepare and eat well. Or it's a curse because I can have junk in my hands in a second.

I LOVE food and I LOVE to cook. My family LOVES food. My entire life has revovled around what's for breakfast, what's for lunch and what's for dinnner. It's an obsession.

I have done WW before and it worked. I re-joined 4 months ago but haven't really done anything about it. I did make the website my homepage but that hasn't helped. Now I just don't know the temp outside. :lmao:

Today I started eating healthy. I have a plan. It will work but I really need to be accountable to someone. I want to lose 50lbs in 2008. I need to lose the weight. We want to have another baby, hopefully a fall 2009 baby. I need to be skinny before I get pregnant again. I NEED to buy new maternity clothes!!

Can anyone help??? Anyone need a buddy? I am on the computer all day ... I can have a lot of access to email and can help hold you accountable too.

Should I put a personal ad out there?

HI. We are neighbors. I live on the Cape and sometimes I go up to the Silver City Galleria to shop! I'm also a SAHM and I know what you mean. It's hard to not snack when the food is very quickly in your hand. But then it is hard to eat healthy when you go out if you don't plan way ahead.

I did WW and lost 30lbs. And then I just stopped losing. I haven't lost any weight in about one year. I've increased my exercise. I started training for the WDW 1/2 marathon. I enjoy the walking/running I do. But I really wish I'd see results. Diet wise I haven't been able to get back on track since I went away in the end of October. I'll do good for a couple of days and then not so good for a few and then really bad for one. Then i start all over again. I still need to lose at least 20lbs. And my DH really wants to have another baby. (trying for the elusive boy). I told him we could talk about it in Feb after the marathon. But I'm terrified of the thought of gaining all the weight back and like you I know if I at least started off lighter it would help. Plus I gave away most of my maternity clothes too!

So anyway, I'm here we can chat and try to remind ourselves the kid's snacks aren't as good as they seem right now. I'm trying to console myself with my glass of water instead of something sweet!

I am so glad that you have found us!

There are monthly challenges and opportunities here that will help you become/remain accountable.

Never give up! You can do this. Make a point of not thinking of things using that "D" word. Make the healthy lifestyle choices and do read those labels.

Give yourself all the opportunities you can to be successful setting small goals that you know you can achieve and keep moving through those.

Come here and post lots! Helping others really will help you keep at it. This is one of the best things I have found to help me.

I look forward to following your journey to a success story!

:cheer2:
