Can I exchange tickets?

I have 4 days left on a Park Hopper ticket (the old ones) for all four of us. I was wondering if I can apply the value of those tickets towards getting one of those 10 day non-expire park hopper Plus tickets? We were thinking of going to Disney Quest and Blizzard Beach this summer when we are there, but we don't have any 'plus' features and it almost seemed like a better deal to just have the 10+ tickets (but I hate to put out all that money for them since I have these 4 days left).

Can I do that?
I am trying to decide between that or cashing the tickets in for annual passes--but then I realized we would only use up to 9 days with the passes, so the 10+ sounded like a better option....I think .

Anyway, can I apply these old tickets to the new ones so I can get those 5 plus features and have more days to go to the parks?

The way this works is that they have a formula for determining how much residual value there is on used passes. It is some portion of the original price, so if you bought the tickets a while ago, you may be better off using the original ticket rather than applying its residual value to the purchase of new tickets.

At the time I bought them, I remember the 'cost per day' was around $42 dollars each. The 10 day Plus comes to about $36 a day, not counting the 5 plus features--so then you factor that in, the cost per day would come to under $30 per day. So I think the 10+ is a better deal even though I bought these tickets last December before the Magic My Way tickets came out.

So I think we will come out ahead with these tickets (hoping they are still selling the 10 day tickets).
