Can I do this?

I have a question- If I am not staying at a DVC resort, but want to visit the parks for the day - am I able to valet park at BWV? Do I still have to pay a parking fee- I know you tip the valet right?

Would someone please straighten me out. Thanks

Do you have an AP? AP holders get free parking at the parks. To me it would be more convenient than parking at a resort, even if it is within easy walking distance. And given the crowded parking conditions at BW/BWV, even occasionally in the valet area, I'd be inclined to leave that for people actually visiting/staying at Boardwalk.

That being said, as far as I know, your blue member card should give you the valet parking perk whether or not you are staying on-site.

Just confirming Chuck S's post. The free valet parking is one perk that does not require the member to be staying at a DVC resort. It is available just by showing your membership card. The official policy so stating is on the DVC members' website.

P.S. The valet lot at BWV is seldom full. If you are not going during peak park attendance time, don't worry about using the valet perk.

Actually the only perks that I can think of that are stay specific include the pass discount, members cash rate and pool hopping. Park parking is a perk of staying on property or having an AP as noted. I'm not sure about golf since I don't. You can valet park, use the blue card.

Thanks so much for responding! I have a seasonal pass which doesn't include parking so to save the parking money I'm going to doing that. (Beginning in August anyways once our block out dates are thru)
