Hello All,

Quick question on how to get around WDW. I am traveling in january with DH and 4 kids. Our Sunday the 18th plan is: Blizzard Beach ( weather permitting but we are from MN so anything is warm!), lunch at Earl of Sandwhich, Disneyquest , dinner at Raglan Road. I would like to head down to the MK for nighttime fun as EMH hours are till 11 that night.

Can I get from Downtown Disney to MK without going back to SSR first?

Nope. There is no direct bus service from DTD to the theme parks. You also cannot get a bus from Blizzard Beach to DTD.

Best advice I can offer is to rent I car. For the plan you outlined a car will probably save you 2 hours worth of transportation wait time alone. It would also keep you avoid having to walk all the way from DTD Marketplace to West Side.

THANK YOU! I figured the Blizzard Beach thing, we may end up pooling it at SSR that morning and saving BB for another day. That would save some time. Trying to avoid the car thing if possible.

I'd probably take the first bus from DTD going to a monorail resort, then monorail it to MK. It might be faster to walk back to SSR, but not as much fun! :)

If you did skip BB it would be a no brainer: pool at SSR in the AM, walk from SSR to DTD, which would put you arriving over on the Market Place side of DTD where Earl is. Then walk over to DisneyQuest, a boat back to SSR, and then the bus to MK. **I dont know Ragland Road. sorry

Be careful it sounds like you have a lot planned in one day. Becareful to not get Disney overload. It does exist. Kids don't sleep well and can run out of gas about 2 in the afternoon. We do something in the morning then go back to the resort to swim or a nap. Then backout somewhere for dinner and some fun.

We will play it by ear. My kids tend to have extra energy when they get to Orlando! We will for sure do swimming and Disneyquest then dinner, then see how they are. We could just pop over to MK for fireworks and not do any rides. We have another MK day planned, just thought we may try to take advantage of extra magic hours that night and nice cool weather!
