Can I do this / HS FP+ Plan

Planning FP strategy for HS day. I have a Slinky booked for 12. I booked FP for 2 shows 9:30 and 10:30. My plan is to be on other rides though.

Will this get my 2 tier 2 out of the way so that I can book a Tier 1 after slinky if I don't go to the tier 2 rides

or

must I actually scan into the FP line at the two tier 2 rides in order to get to book a tier 1 after my slinky.

Sadly, there is no definite answer to that, as sometimes an un-scanned FP does not automatically drop off the list.
To be "safe," it would make sense to walk to the show and scan the FP.

And, since we're discussing this kind of thing, it might make more sense to re-book your "unwanted" FPs to
attractions instead of shows. A "show's" FP usually has a smaller/shorter window of time in which to scan the FP.
If you are across the park, you MIGHT want a longer window of time in which to get to the entrance of the "unwanted"
attraction.
