Can I do better than $273.01 for 10 days?

just rented a full size at alamo from 8/19-8/29 - i have to pick up in FLL and return in MCO and the total cost after taxes is $273.01.

We prefer a minivan but can afford the over $400 / tax inclusive prices we were seeing but wanted to double check here if anyone knows of anything else we can do during this time period.

We got a rate of $317(includes taxes etc.) for 10 days 8/10-8/20 at Alamo using rate J1 for a standard SUV(Jeep Grand Cherokee).

is there another code to use with that?
i just tried and got $414.43 before taxes using 8/19-29

NO! We used J1 or @A! They give the same rate! I noticed it is only a good rate for SUV though!

i guess it's cause i'm picking up in fll and dropping in mco
i even called alamo and they gave me an even higher rate!
