Can I change resort?

Right now we have reservations for CBR with free DDP & up-graded to DxDP. Here is my question. Can we change to a different resort (to a value) and up-grade our free dining to DxDP? we have put the deposit down already. Or are we stuck with this one$ The way I figured it we would save around $300. We are not changing the dates or number of people going. I didnt think that there were any values with free DDP available.

You can change your reservation if there is any availability at one of the values for free dining. You would just have to call Disney to check. All of the resorts have free dining (although I don't know whether anything is still available), but the values all have the quick service dining plan. You would have to upgrade from that the the dxDDP. I'm not sure how much cheaper you would come out in the long run. Good luck.

We will save around $300. We were able to switch resorts.

We did the same where at pop change to CBR. Now back at pop with free QSDP. Dh wanted the QSDP so we don't have a ton of adr's for 10 days. It saved us 750.00.

Did you have to pay a penalty to go from moderate to a value?
