Can I buy mouse ears hats at the hotel?

BF and I really want to wear the mouse ears hats while in the parks. But we get in after 5 pm on our 1st day, and won't be in any of the parks. We are staying at the CR and will just check-in and have dinner at the California Grill and (hopefuly) watch the fireworks over dinner, then go to bed early. We want to get into MK and on to rides right away the next morning, and would rather not have to take the time to buy the hats 1st thing. But if we don't, then we don't get to have the hats to wear until much later in the day!!!

Sooooo, the question is, does the CR have the hats in the gift shop, or do we have to buy them in the parks? Cuz if they're in the gift shops, then the problem is solved, we just pick them up before dinner our first night. If not, then we either have to take the time in the morning at MK, or spend most of our first day (and BF's first visit ever) with out the hats.

I know this all seems silly, but we are going to spend the trip acting like 10 year olds, and want to look the part! Seriously, as a kid, my parents took us to WDW but never bought us the hats and I've always wanted one, and BF has never been and thinks it's "cool" to have the hats. Basicly, it's fulfilling a life long dream:

You might try this on the resorts board.

My gut instinct was no they're not there but now I'm thinking they may have a limited selection, but I'm pretty sure they have some.

I do believe they have them at the resort gift shops. I recall glimpes of them. I think they have pink ones too for the princesses.

Just remember to bring some hair pins to secure them. I find they don't stay on my head too well.

oogieboogie--Thanks! I think we'll look at the gift shops, and if they are there, great. If not, then we'll try to get them 1st thing the next morning at MK. It' shouldn't take too long to buy them, after all!

If memory serves, you can get the mouse ear hats at some resort gift shops (almost certainly in the CR somewhere) BUT you can only get your name on them at the Mad Hatter in fantasyland (havent verified this for several years though) or the hat shop on Main Street- go in the park, go all the way to the right, then walk forward to the first line of shops. Tony's should be on the far right, with the hat shop in front. I think it is named the chapeau, but that is a blur now for some reason.

I don't know about the resorts but you can buy the hats and get them embroidered at the Days of Christmas store in Downtown Disney's Marketplace.

They had them at Pop gift shop. Kids and adults. First my 4 year old got on the trip was pink ears!

Thanks! If they had them at Pop Century, the should have them at CR for sure! If not, we'll just have to deal with it. Thanks everyone!
