Can I borrow someone's daughter???

I'll lend you my youngest daughter. She loves WDW! The only real draw back is that she is 30 now and would have a 4 year old son in tow. I'm sure for the opportunity to go to WDW she would dress like a princess for you.

Oh, we also have to get her husbands clearance as well!

princess: princess: princess:

Ok, I have an 20 yr old and a 15 yr old. Take your pick. Watch out though , they love to shop. Return before midnight.

BTW, I had 3 boys before I got my first girl. You can take the boys too if you want to expierence the fighting and aguing that goes with it.

I guess having a girl doesn't guarantee you'll have a princess loving girly girl.

My niece is 13. She has 2 brothers. She hasn't worn a dress past age 5. She can't stand princesses or anything pink or purple. They go to WDW every other year. She loves Disney, but just not girl-type things.

I only have 2 boys.

I have 2 boys and I can SO relate to this thread! My twins were 2 1/2 when we went in FEB this year. I joked with my hubby that I was going to dress one of them in a cinderella costume and take him to the castle breakfast...he wouldn't have known any better!!! lol. My hubby said NO WAY...I wouldn't have done it, really...it was just a thought... :rolleyes1 :teeth:

I absolutely love my two boys (ages 27 and 21) and wouldn't trade them for anything, of course, but last November I had the awesome opportunity to take my niece (age 8 at the time) to WDW for NINE days!!!

The idea started with just the same thing you're saying. DH wanted to eat at 1900 Park Fair again, and wondered where we could find a "little girl" to take!!! LOL Well, one thing led to another and before we knew it, my brother and SIL let us take my niece. NOW it turned into "special" time with aunt and uncle which was awesome for us!!!

Anyway, I went NUTS!!! My Disney Girl Princess Tea, a Cinderella meal, Alice and Wonderland, Princess lunch at Akershus, My First Manicure and Pedicure at the spa (I got a pedicure), everything and anything I could think of to do with a girl. Well, it was so much fun, but there's also much to be said about loud, boisterous but at least generally "non-moody" boys when you're trying to deal with a whiny "mid-----DAY" ahem...crisis on a scheduled daily basis!!! :rotfl:

We did have such a magical and fun time though, daily crisis and all!!! :goodvibes (the cure seemed to be a break in the pool, I swear by that afternoon break)

At Universal I wanted to borrow a child of any gender so that I could ride the Pteronadon (sp?) Flyers. You have to ride with someone under a certain height. It looked like such fun.

I have a DD7 who wears all pink all the time, loves make up, jewelry, and all the girly girl stuff you can think of... EXCEPT PRINCESSES!!! She has absolutely zero desire to meet any of them, eat with them, or visit their castles. I figure we save lots of $$ and stress by not having to work to snag a CRT ADR.

DD is super excited to do the BBB in January- but she doesn't want to look like a Pricess when she's done- she'll probably end up as a Pop Princess or Disney Diva instead.

I know how you feel. I have one DS and we brought my nieces along for one trip. It was nice to have them along although by the end of the trip, I did get tired of the dears hogging the clothes line in the bathroom with their bikinis. :)

Stacy6552 - That picture of your son with the princesses is one of those priceless moments and would only be that cute with a boy! It is just adorable.

I do have dd's but none of them, well my 17 year old, wanted anything to do with the Princess stuff. I tried to talk her into dressing up for the castle and I guess I validated all theories about where my mind has gone! My ds and dil are expecting any day now...a little girl. I already have our first trip planned and of course, BBB, the castle and everything else I can do. The moral...take heart one of those ds may have a dd and I figure since I am holding at 29 I will always be young enough for the world and the next generation!

I actually did try to borrow my sister's DD7 to go with us for free dining next month. She and my son have a great time when they are together, being just 4 months apart. With three adopted kids and only one parent working in my sisters family, they certainly don't get to take all the great vacations we do. I was having all these great dreams about how much fun my niece would have on her first trip to WDW with us.

No dice...my sister said she thought her DD was too young to be traveling without us. After we spent the day in a local amusement park having a fabulous time I pleaded again, with no luck.

Mom to 3 boys as well. :thumbsup2

You may not be able to dress them in princess "wear" but my boys never object (especially the 15 yr old) to breakfast with the princesses!!! He wore his "Tough Guys Wear Pink" shirt and had to have his picture taken with all the princesses to show the guys back at school. They were all envious! :woohoo:

I am lucky enough to own a dance studio, so we have lots of pink and princess stuff there, all the little ones with their princess dresses they wear to class, the dressing room is decorated in disney princess, ahhh, no pink at home.
We are heading to Disney Aug 12 and I am so excited because I am "borrowing" a daughter to go with us! I have been teaching this little dancer since she was 5 and she is graduating this year from HIgh school, she has become part of our family, her mom jokes about her not remembering where she really lives, she even has a room at our house! she has followed me thru 2 studio changes and lives far enough away that she stays at our house over the weekends for class! We cant wait to finally get to disney I am going to see Beauty and the beast and go to CRT and go shopping for tiara's and look at the dresses........PINK!!!! :woohoo:

Be patient . . . the best thing in the world may be coming some day . . . GRANDDAUGHTERS princess: !!!!
My DD has graciously granted me 5 days alone with DGrD (3) at WDW :thumbsup2 - I have always taken care of her on the days that DD works - so it won't be a big adjustment for her (or me). They didn't have all of the Princess things when my DDs were little (or maybe we didn't know, because we couldn't have afforded it then, anyway) - so this trip I'm taking my little girlfriend to all of the princess meals and shows!!
DNeph (8) did agree (somewhat begrudgingly) to do CRT breakfast for me last year and he ended up having a great time meeting all of the princesses - they did a wonderful job of engaging him - and he decided getting his pictures taken was cool because they were all so beautiful that his big brothers would be jealous (instead of teasing)! :smooth:

I have two wonderful grandsons and I would not trade them for the world and while they are willing to do many things for their dear grandma they refuse to go to a tea party with me. I keep hoping that someone I know, with a daughter, will be there when I am so that I might borrow their girl for just a bit. :cheer2:

Failing that I hereby offer the services of a grandma for some upcoming trip. I will teach your dear to lift their pinkie in a most delightful way and talk in a faux English accent. I also know all the words to "Superfragilisticexpialidocious." In other words, I am 'practically perfect' in every way. :rotfl2:

Ok....so...not really! It's just that every time I start to plan a Disney trip, I start to have daughter envy! I am the mom of 3 boys and I don't think that they would like it too much if I drug them off to the bippity boppity boutique!!! I am really going to miss having someone to go to the princess dinners with, buy princess dresses, and...one day....plan that Cinderella Disney Wedding!!! Whah!

I have a 4-year-old (about to be 5). By the end of the week, I might be willing to give her to you. She is every bit the princess, and let me tell you, that entitled princess stuff gets old FAST! But can I trade for one of your boys? Particularly one that is over 44 inches tall and enjoys thrill rides?

I have four sons so I totally understand! I love my sons but sometimes I need a little girl fix. My 4yo really love Cinderalla so I really work that with him. It is soo funny to hear him talk about kicking the prince out ot the castle. :rotfl2: On our August trip we are doing breakfast in the castle so he can see the love of his life. That's about as girly as we get.

I have one DD9 who will not get within 10 feet of anything princessy! She is not a girlie girl. She loves Disney but no princesses. The closest we ever got to one was Belle because my DD wanted to see Beauty and the Beast at DS. My daughter never played with Barbies or any other dolls. Her favourite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean! So enjoy your boys, you can never be sure a girl will like princesses! :)

OMG - it has already been a long summer here!

You may borrow DD7 anytime you want. There are no strings attached! Take her, please.

P.S. - She hates girlie things. Wouldn't get near BBB with a 20-foot pole. Would love the pirate cruise if someone would go with her. Won't eat with Cinderella or any other princess, but is still waiting for the Buzz Lightyear/Woody breakfast they discussed earlier this year.

As said above, having a girl doesn't guarantee "girlie" stuff. YMMV.
