Yes, this is exactly what I meant. I find it hard to understand how society will have their hearts break over a child/teen/adult who was bullied to the point of suicide, yet we'll laugh at- people making fun of gay teenagers on for the way they dress, overweight children, the clothing choice of elderly people, people making fun of how pale someone is, Religious clothing, food choices, there's even pics of people who are wearing a particular sports team on a shirt. It's the comments that follow the picture posts that are unbelievable to me because I'd hate to think so many out there believe this stuff. People seem to think it's all just funny overweight people wearing weird clothing but it's not, it's a mix of everything. I don't think it has anything to do w/ relaxing, I'm far from perfect but I just wasn't raised to point my finger at total strangers regardless of what they looked like, laugh, then tell everyone else to look at them & laugh. What's wrong w/ being different? Why should society care? People who take pics of these people sound like sadistic bullies to me

I hate that website. I don't understand the overwhelming need people have to make fun of others.
And I think that it's incredibly hypocritical for us, as a society, to get angry when we hear about a kid who commits suicide because he's being bullied and then turn around and laugh at people because of the way the look.
There is nothing that is so special about me that gives me the right to mock other people for the sheer joy of it.
Until we stop and remember that what's in a person's heart is so much more important than what is covering his or her body, we're all just adding to the problem instead of helping to solve it.
