can I add people on to my room after I book it?

We are new to the Disney Vacation Club family. I just booked us our vacation in a 2 bedroom at SSR for my DH & DS (5). We asked my parents to come w/ us originally, but my Disney Dad gets very busy at work during the month of July and decided to decline this year. Now, my dad called and said that they are now able to make it, he has changed his schedule around. Can I add them to our reservation? If anyone can help w/ this answer I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi: Yes, you can. Simply call MS with all the info. We've done this several times over the years. Enjoy!

Yes, as long as you don't go over the occupancy you should even be able to add them at check-in. Or remove them if something comes up.

If you're doing the Dining Plan then you should do it at least 48 hours ahead of time.

If the OP is planning to take advantage of the Magical Express perk, then she should add her parents to the reservation now (or at least 3-4 weeks before check in). That way, they yellow tags will be correct and arrive in a timely manner.

Good point. Didn't even think of this for planning my first trip to BCV as first time DVC members with extended family! Thanks so much
