Hello

I was going to do G+ but after so much negative feedback I would prefer to just pay for the exact rides we want. I believe that's what LL is.

I always get my tickets w undercover tourist, there is no option on there to add LL, I guess I do that later? Will I be able to without getting them directly with Disney?

Also, anyone have positive/negative feedback for universal Express, it costs more than G+ so I want to be sure it's worth it

Thank you so much!

The following 8 rides (2 in each park) are on the list of pay-per-ride Individual Attraction Selections. For these, you can use the standby line (or the virtual queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure) OR you can pay the individual price to use the Lightning Lane. They are NOT included with your purchase of Disney Genie+:
So how do you book these rides? Disney Resort guests can make their Individual Attraction Selection purchases at 7AM on the day of their visit, but other guests must wait until park opening time to book them. This gives resort guests a 1-4 hour advantage for booking.

Hope that helps!

Ah thank you! I get my tickets from a third party site, will that matter?

This is probably not the forum but Express ticket is the greatest! It allows you to come and go at your leisure, ride whatever you want as many times as you want without ever waiting more than 20 mins. Pretty much do anything you want.

If Disney had this option, I would be there next week.

Hahaha yay thank you! Glad to hear it's worth the money

Just to clarify (unless things have changed since my last visit) there are 2 tiers, and pricing, for Express pass. One is unlimited rides on each attraction and the second is one ride per attraction. We chose the cheaper one ride. There were a just a couple of rides that didn’t participate. It was pricey but we still thought it was worth it, especially if you’re going during a busy time.

Thank you for clarifying, we would be doing the same and not the unlimited!

Not trying to sway any opinions, but not all the feedback on G+ has been negative. Some of the complaints are from folks who didn't do their homework and didn't understand how it works, or even from people who haven't used it. Is it for everyone? Absolutely not. Will we use it all the time? Absolutely not. But there was similar negativity when FP started, and then especially when FP+ started. G+ will have its pros and its cons, just like the FP options. We used it last week, and it worked well. We did not do any of the Individual LL (the extra pay per attraction), so cannot comment on that.

We have also used US Express Pass (when it was part of our resort stay), and it's really nice.

Thank you so much! After reading through more comments I can agree that people just have unrealistic expectations of genie plus

Be sure to investigate the cost of a room at one of the three deluxe resorts at UOR, which includes the unlimited EP for everyone registered to the room, from day of checkin through day of checkout. Twice now we’ve found it cheaper to book a room for our parties of 4 or 5 than to pay for the EP - even though we were sleeping elsewhere. Gotta do the math!

Like Carolyn mentioned, check the costs of staying onsite at Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, or Portofino Bay. Staying at those resorts gives you Unlimited Express Pass for no extra cost (of course you need to have tickets to get into the park).
