Just wondering what the procedure is for guests visiting you while at a DVC resort?

DMIL and DFIL spend the winters near Tampa and will surely want to come for a visit when we become DVC members. Can they use the hotel facilites? Do we have to register them for the day? They would be driving back to Tampa in the evening (not spending the night).:thumbsup2

In the past I've just told who's coming to visit our room number so when they got to the guard shack they gave our name and room number and they let them in.

We have had guests from Tarpon Springs come for the day at least 3 times. They gave their name/showed their picture ID/gave our name to guard. This has been the procedure at VWL, BCV, and AKV. I think they were given a 3 hour parking pass. We hung around the villa, went to parks, ate meals on site restaurants. They didn't use pool or any facilities of the resort.

That's what we did. Don't know what's "official procedure".

They should be able to visit you and park at the resort if you get them a parking pass. But they won't be able to use the pool. They can dine with you, they can shop with you. They can go to the park with you.
