Can fruit be counted as a snack of the DP?

I was wondering if the fruit on the fruit carts can be used as a snack credit, and if so has anyone ever gotten a pickle with their snack credit. I am pickle crazy and that would be awesome! if I could get a pickle with my snack credit.

I know fresh fruit can be at the resort food court/counter service places, but I'm unsure about pickles or carts.

Anyone help out?
