Can FP+ be split between 2 parks in one day for your family?

Thanks - it's just that getting conflicting information is frustrating. The CM on the phone told me it wasn't possible & I know they don't always have the most up to date info which is why I posted here to see if others had done it.

It may have been how you asked. Unfortunately, phone CM's have been known to provide incorrect information.

The good news is they can likely manage AK just find without any FP+ reservations. Keep their FP for the second part of their day at EPCOT.

That's what I'm hoping, RD for Safari, single rider for EE, not sure what else they are planning to do. DD is at college in another state, this will would be much easier if the were in the same room rather than texting each other!

Perhaps you could have them look at the cheat sheets at easywdw.com. Josh lays out a pretty good touring plan that has worked well for us. They could easily do the 2 headliners, Dinosaur and a couple of others before noon, as long as they are there at RD. But if you are going to be there in the summer, crowds will be heavy, and standby times will be long before noon.

I have done just this for our trip next month on a few different days. We are a party of 6 and one example is on a Friday we have 3 FP's in Epcot for myself, my sister and brother in law and a different set of 3 at MK for my daughter, my nephew and my niece - no problem at all.

I think this issue your having is explaining what you want/need - you can't split a persons FP's between parks but each person can do 3 in any park they want regardless of what the rest of the party does.

When you get to the 60 (or 30day) mark just pick the day, select the people you want to make the FP for in the first park and make the selections. Then go back to that same day and select the other people and the park they want and make those selections. - repeat as necessary!

I purchased Touring Plans so I will certainly play around with that for them. The true adults like to enjoy an adult beverage & snack in almost each country in Epcot so we plan to do all the rides earlier then WS later on. The kids want to do AK in the morning, do some of the attractions in Epcot and then they want to have dinner (the 2 of them) in Italy. We probably won't see much of them in Epcot till Illuminations! Hopefully since their FP+ is only for 2 people they will have more options.
As you can tell I've never done FP+ before & with all the hype I'm nervous about it all. Sorry if I'm being a PITA

So they can have FP+ for Epcot & go to AK (not get any FP there) then head to Epcot and use their FP+ Correct?
I'll get all this eventually!!!!

Sure ! You are only scheduling FP+ (up to three in a single park for each person) you don't have to "schedule parks". So schedule your FP+ for each person and then even still he/she is free to visit any park of their choosing.

eta - on the day I described above we are all going to Epcot to have lunch and see some of the F&G festival together. The "kids" 18, 16 and 13 are then heading to MK for the late afternoon/evening so they have 3 FP+ at MK. We are staying at Epcot so we made our 3 FP+ for Epcot. At some point the Kids will rejoin us at Epcot for Illuminations. Win/Win :)
