Can extended evening hours change once posted?

There is one Wednesday in August that the extended evening hours are at MK (the rest of the month is at AK). Could it end up getting changed to AK or will it stay at MK since that’s what has been posted?

Historically I don't remember any time when it was changed once published. It will move to AK later in Aug due to MNSSHP but the one in MK in early Aug is highly unlikely to change.

I totally agree. EEH is one big reason we're doing a split stay with three nights at Boardwalk next month but thankfully we didnt plan or book with the expectation of using it at MK so it didn't affect us but I wouldn't be happy with that switch at all.

DAK EEH is useless to me, especially right now where so many things are closed. No KSR for EEH, the animal trails are closed, no Tree of Life show, most of Dinoland under construction. There's Pandora (FoP/Navi), Kali River Rapids, Everest, and Dinosaur. They should have switched to DHS, like they did last year. That was a benefit, DAK is not.

I meant the 3D film shown inside the ToL, I don't think there is an opening day for the change to ZooTopia - I could be wrong! It's been reported that it won't reopen until winter of 2025.

That's kind of what I thought you meant! It's a nice show, I am not sure it will be dark enough to do it, if the EEH are from 6 to 8pm. As the fall progresses, I would hope they would as it gets darker earlier. It's not something that would make me go to DAK for EEH. But that's just me!

Disney After Hours events on Wednesday nights prevented moving Extended Evening Hours over there.

DHS has the paid after hours on Wednesday.

It would be SLIGHTLY more worth it if the park closed at say 8pm vs 6pm.
But with the EEH being 6pm-8pm and other parks being open longer its like ummmm who is going to choose to stay at AK until 8pm and then likely end up calling it a night since it wouldn't be worth trying to make it to another park.

Really hope this stays--we'll be there from August 26- Sept 5 and we're not looking forward to EEH at AK.

Last October, I was also initially VERY disappointed that EEH was going to be AK and not MK or HS. We'd really wanted those.
However, we had a blast at EE at AK. We got there later afternoon, with time to ride the safari, still walk at least one animal trail, and could've done more. We ordered Satuli Canteen, and had that before EEH started. DS rode Dinosaur 10 times in a row, got several rides on EE. I was doing FoP. NO wait at all, like walk into the rows where they're sorting you into the ride pre-show chamber. Second time, paused a little bit in the lab room. The part that took the longest was the WALK through the queue, still had to walk almost all of it. and do the preshows. Could've ridden that several more times though.
That ended up being the only time we spend in AK, and we got what we wanted done, so that was good.
