Can Costco tickets be upgraded to an AP?

Does anyone know if the Costco tickets can be upgraded to an annual pass? The AP rates for our dates in July save us $150 just on room alone. I paid $139 for my 3 day Costco ticket, For $90 more I can get an annual pass. so I'd save $60 right out of the gate plus get all the other perks. Let me know what you think.

I don't know about upgrading the tickets, but they can be returned to Costco. I decided after buying the Costco tickets that we needed AP's instead. I just returned them to Costco and went to AAA and puchased the Universal AP's.

Don't forget to take tax into account with the upgrade... The non-resident preferred pass is $247.09 with taxes vs 229.99 without.

I upgraded a Costco ticket to an AP last year, but it was the 3-month $99 ticket. I just paid the difference, and the hotel savings more than made up the difference in price.

We are going back in a few weeks and taking advantage of the AP rates again!

Yes. I'm not sure if you can book multiple rooms with one AP (if you need more than one room), but I know you only need one AP to book a room.

Update:

Thanks cvjw! I returned one ticket to Costco w/o receipt no problem. But for anyone else that wants to know, I did call UO guest services and they said that was no problem. I was happier to be able to return the ticket so i can just make an easy online transaction and not have to have any confusion when i get to the park. I made reservations using the APH promo code and will just do as others say, show them my AP during my stay. Saved a lot of money on just a 3-night stay.

The exciting part is I will now be an Annual Passholder!
