Can CityPass be upgraded at DL?

Our family is going to DL for the first time this summer and we are looking at doing several SoCal attractions, so the CityPass looks to be the best deal for us. The CityPass includes a 3-Day park hopper, but I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to 4 days? The only thread I could find that addressed this was from 2007 and I guess back then you actually got a voucher to exchange for the tickets at DL, so they were easily upgradeable. Now you just get a card to present at all theme parks that takes the place of all the various park tickets. I can't find any info about upgrading a CityPass PH here or on the CityPass website. Has anyone tried to do this before?

The only upgrade mentioned on the CityPass website is at Universal Studios- it says you can upgrade to a Front of the Line Pass. There is nothing about upgrading at Disneyland.

I am asking if anyone has actual experience doing it- I, too, have heard rumors that you can do it, but I'm looking for someone who has actually done it recently with the card instead of the ticket vouchers.

We did upgrade to 6 day in May 2010. We went to the maingate booths and it took a few minutes.

Were they using the plastic CityPass card in 2010? If so, did they just add days to your DL tickets on the card, or issue you additional tickets?
