Can anyone recommend a small(ish) scrapbook tote?

I live in New York City and I don't have a car. I go to crops with my friend in Pennsylvania 3-4x a year, and I carry my supplies over public transportation. I've been using a fairly large tote bag, but it becomes very heavy to lift.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a smaller scrapbook tote with wheels? Lots of people have big totes (the XXL one), but if that's loaded, that will be way too heavy for me to maneuver. I'm looking for a smaller one, maybe half the size of the XXL one? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I traded my navigator for one half the size - about 7 inches thick, but I don't see it on crop in style's website anymore. I also use a Creative memories Daisy tool caddy along with it because the little pockets on the outside of the roller are useless for me - I don't use anything small enough to fit in them A, and B I hated opening all those little pockets hunting for things.

My suggestion would be to lay out all the stuff you normally take with you - see what you could eliminate by preplanning / kitting, and then STACK it. Measure the stack to see how small you can get away with. If it weren't for my atg, I could do a four hour crop with only a Pizza box.

Then, look at the quality brands - Crop in style - creative memories (I like the size of their weekender, but it doesn't have wheels) - or maybe even a regular suitcase/rollon/laptop case instead of a "scrapbook" bag.

I found one that seems smaller on Amazon. At least that's what one review thought "Smaller than I expected!" Works for me! It's 17x17x9.

Thanks again.

I bought one on sale at Michael's last fall, and they still have them. It is similar in size to the CM weekender, and it's on wheels. The front pocket has 5 clear zip pockets that are attached with velcro. The handles, which are chain and fabric, are long enough to sling the bag over your shoulder if you need to lift it, or can be tucked into small pockets so they don't catch on anything. The bag is black with grey trim, and the front looks quilted. It also comes in pink.

I've been using it as a carry-on for trips, and it works great!

Just bought one 1/2 the size at michaels yesterday on clearance for $20. It is awesome.

I have seen one at Joann's that was a nice smaller size. Check them out.
