We are staying at the vistana villages for 4 nights before going onto disney property for 9 more nights. We are doing the vistana timeshare thing for 2 disney tickets. We'll we would like 2 more. We want to do another timeshare presentation for a lunch presentation.
We go information on one but I guess I should look around for some that are close and not too pushy.
Any suggestions?
We would like to do one on Sunday the 25th of August. Do they do timeshare presentations on Sundays?
Were do we start to look for them?

We got the 2 Free ones and then ask to bought 1 more and they offered it at a discounted rate.

anyone??? I am sure somebody has done a timeshare presentation.
Please we are leaving on the 21st.
Thanks everyone

Not really answering your question, but be aware that Vistana also has another resort on State Rte. 535, only about 2 miles from the Villages. There they have more pools and several very good restaurants. With your Villages parking pass you can enter the grounds of the resort as well. (My husband and I have been owners at the resort for 4 years now and we love it!) Have a great time!

May I be a little impertinent and ask why you want to waste your valuable vacation time doing timeshare presentations ?

fleisure- we are going for 2 weeks and would love to get into the park for another day for free.
We figured since we have to eat lunch , why not eat and get two tickets for free. It is worth it for 90minutes since we will be eating anyway. It's a free meal too!!!
Do I sound like I am justifying myself or convincing myself to do it. My dh says lets pass!!!

If you do a Google search and search for Free Disney Tickets you will find many opportunities for Timeshare Presentations. If you really want to find them they are EVERYWHERE in Orlando. A friend of mine wanted to do one and was offered in the lobby of her hotel. They're offered in just about every discount store in town and all up and down International Drive.

bump- one last cry for help!!!
thanks to robinsr I have done a google search and left some messages and no one has called back.
Does anyone else have some places where we can do the timeshare presentation. I would love to go to the park for an extra day(without paying of course)
Thanks

Any hotel you go into that has a Guest Services desk will usually be able to hook you up with a time share tour. They generally are all run by the time shares.

andychris14, have you DONE a timeshare tour before? Just asking because we did one at RonJon's this past March, for accomdoations-----one bedroom for 2 nights for $40-----for what we were told was a great buffet breakfast low-key no pressure one hour "presentation".

Ah if I knew then what I know now. The presentation part led us to believe we would be with others in the room. Well, we were, but there was a sales rep at each table doing a one on one. What was described above turned into a 3 hour high pressured not very informative timeshare pitch from hell!!!!

I was so mad!!!! We ended up at the parks much later than I wanted to and these people would not take NO for an answer. Not to mention the fact that the first unit they wanted to sell us was a 3 bedroom for $20,000. even though they KNEW DBF and I are the only ones who go and we have no kids!!!!!!!

It was very upsetting and so not worth it. We got to the parks much later than we wanted to that day. That was when I visited DVC. They gave me nothing to sit through the presentation, but I honestly felt like I could walk out at any time. We bought it right there.

Hopefully Vistana won't be as bad, maybe someone on the boards could let you know if they have done it before, but my experience was so bad, I wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

Good luck!

Well Fleisure with the number of hours we have racked up at the parks and the fact that we were down there for 17 days, we could afford to spend that time there, even though it ended up being not worth it. It was more the manner in which we were treated that I objected to, and not all timeshares are sold that way. And I was in the timeshare market anyway, so why not take advantage of the low rate room they were offering?

Luckily I work in sales myself, so when I asked specific questions beyond the fluff of how wonderful it would be to own, and they couldn't answer them for me, that's when I got insulted. And when I pointed out inconsistencies in the answers they did give me, DBF got disgusted with them and walked out. I hung out because they were holding my deposit hostage, and they told me that 3 other people had to sign some slip before I got it back. If you are selling something good, your product sells itself. These people were selling theirs way too hard, and not very well which put me off.

I also spent 4 hours listening to and closing on DVC during the very same vacation and the term "low pressure" definitely did appy to DVC.

So if andychris or anybody else wants to go through with it, that's their option, and I won't knock them for it. I'm just saying they should know what they are in for and be prepared before they go.

here's some to check..
Summer Bay resort
Orange Lake Country club
Celebration world resort

Or just wait till you get there and start talking to some of the folks who just love to nab you when you are shopping, eating or even getting gas. You won't have any trouble finding places to tour....

I have never done a presentation. I feel my time is worth more than the price of tickets. I do have a brother in law that thrives on them. He does them all the time. He is so bold he tells the rep up front "there is no way I will even think of buying, I'm here for the fee tickets and the tickets only" Then he listens to the presentation and says "ok give me my tickets I'm outa here". He actually had one rep give him the tickets without listening so he could go attack someone else instead of "wasting his time" on my brother in law. I guess its a matter how bold you want to be:)

we'll we didn't do the second timeshare presentation.
We stayed at the vistana villages and did the timeshare thing. Then we went onto disney property. It was painless. In and out one, two, three.
We did want to do another for some more passes. Since we stayed at disney for 2 weeks. We figured what the heck more time in the park.
We'll we decided to spend the time by the pool and relax.
