Can anyone recommend a hotel in London?

We are a family of four. Dh, dd, ds and myself. Both kids are teenagers, one boy one girl. We would probably need something that offers a bunkbed option as well as the double or queen bed.
We want to be in walking distance to Picadilly circus OR Hyde Park.
Any suggestions for a reasonable hotel would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks-

Hi! When me and my daughter were in London last year we stayed at The Royal Horseguards (a Thistle brand hotel). It was very lovely and we walked all over town. Do they even offer bunkbeds in Europe?? Have a great time, I wish we were going back :yay:

I know that DH stayed at the Travelodge in Covent Garden when he went on his stag weekend earlier this year, and I think they did larger family rooms. It's v cheap, but he said modern and clean, and would definitely be in walking distance of Picadilly Circus.

Oops, just noticed you are in the US - I should have said his bachelor party :goodvibes

Thanks everyone for all of the tips on hotels.
Now we just need decide between Feb. and April.

Does anyone know what the Aspen Suites are like? They are on Sussex dr. near Hyde Park. We have a 2 bedroom condo there with kitchen. We are going to be there from the 15th to the 20th of Jan.

I hope they have refurbished this place since I stayed a couple of years ago. It was really tatty. It is advertised as Covent Garden but is actually nearer High Holborn. It isn't too close to Picadilly Circus but you could walk there in about 15 minutes. I felt it was a bit tucked out of the way.

I think it must have been refurbished if it's the same hotel. DH is almost as fussy as me when it comes to hotels, - 'cheap and cheerful' was what they were looking for, and I know they were more than happy.

Some rooms at the Covent Garden Travelodge have been refurbished. We got a tatty room when we first arrived so I asked to be moved. The second room was much better.
