My son and his future wife will be honeymooning in WDW. They are planning to use DME, but I want to surprise them by arranging for a Tiffany Towncar.
I really want them to get a good driver, someone who will chat with them on the trip. Many of the Tiffany drivers we have had are good drivers, but speak very little. Any recommendations? ( I know Berkely is great, but he drives a van, I am talking about towncar drivers) Thanks everyone.

We have used Berkeley for more years that I can count. Although he drives a van, which is more expensive. For us, it is worth the extra money to pay for him to pick us up on both ends. He meets you at the bottom of the escalator, gets a skycap to help us (we always have 5 people and 12 bags or so) and then gets the van -- telling the skycab where to take us to meet him -- although after all these years we have it down. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. He has watched our son grow up over the last five years and remembers things we've forgotten. That type of service is priceless, in our book. Would never dream of using ME or another towncar service ... and in fact another driver. But, I've read many good comments about the towncar drivers also. Perhaps someone can help you with a name. But, if you can splurge ... Berkely is worth it. Tell him Debbie from AZ said hi if you use him.

Jack Jordan was my driver last year. An older gentleman, polite, on time very helpful. If I was using them again, I would definitely ask for him.

I know this isn't what you asked, but I just want to try to make sure there won't be trouble. When you say they're planning on using DME but you want to surprise them, I hope you're going to tell them before the trip. The reason I say this is if they put the DME tags on their luggage but then don't ride their DME bus, their luggage will remain at the airport and will NOT be delivered to their resort (the luggage is pulled behind the scenes, so they and/or their driver won't be able to retrieve it from the baggage claim carousel, and Disney won't deliver luggage if the owners don't ride the bus). Please make sure their DME tags do not go on their checked luggage!

I hope they have a blast!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I would certainly tell them before they leave. I haven't called DME yet, they told me to wait and call about 45 days out, which would be some time this week. Wanted to call Tiffany instead.
