I am hoping to buy 300 points (would like 150 at 2 locations, if possible). I am new and want to make sure I am using a good broker. Thanks!

I would heartily recommend The Timeshare Store -- the longtime sponsors of this DIS forum. I have purchased three times and sold twice through them. I have always found them to be honest, very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive.

Thank you! I will contact them. :)

There are a few I recommend...Shontell at www.DVCbyResale.com is great (I am using her now...just found out, today, that we passed ROFR and it only took 3 weeks...and when sellers agreed to our offer on 4/18 in the evening, we had the contract in our e-mail on 4/19 in the morning). The Timeshare Store was not bad either....bought a contract through them in January 2012.

Thanks! Just left a message.

We had a great experience with Shontell, too.

Stay away from TimeshareBrokerServices. Slow slow service. Stick with the recommended brokers to avoid headaches. Good luck

To answer your question, "Can anyone recommend a broker", the answer is: I refer you to the DIS guidelines.
"From the DIS Guidelines:
FILTERED WORDS, NAMES and URLS

Here are some of the DVC resale brokers often mentioned on the DIS:

The Timeshare Store (a DIS sponsor) - http://www.dvc-resales.com
Fidelity Resales - http://fidelityresales.com/
DVC by Resale - http://www.dvcbyresale.com/

Here are few other options for DVC resale purchases:

Timeshare Users Group - http://www.tug2.net (Also a great resource for information about other Timeshare programs)
Timesharing Today - http://www.tstoday.com
Redweek - http://www.redweek.com
Ebay - http://www.ebay.com

...and here are some other sites frequently posted on the DIS DVC Forums:
Owners Locker - http://www.ownerslocker.com
DVC Request - http://www.DVCrequest.com

When I bought a resale in 98 I think my broker was same Shontall from DVCbyRESALES but at that time she was at Timeshare store. Can anyone verify this.

Is this the same as **************** ? Or TimeshareBrokerSales?

I don't think so the company is TBS or Timeshare Broker Services they were associated with sellmytimesharenow.com I would stick with those mentioned on this site as reliable. Next time we will use the sponsor on the top of the page. Good Luck

Yes, Shontell worked at TTS before going out on her own.
