Can anyone point me to a Twitter for dummies

I am beginning to see a bunch of stuff (i.e. our local news) using twitter and saying things are updated on Twitter

I am clueless and I dont see where there is any instructions on the Twitter page.

if anyone can point me that way I would appreciate it.

Have you created a twitter account yet?
Once you get your account created, click where it says "Find People" at the top of the page and type in the name of the person you want to follow. Try Disunplugged for a start!
Once the person comes up in the list, click it and it will take you to their page.
Under their name there will be a box that says "Follow"
Click the follow box and you are now following that person's posts. It's kind of like subscribing to a thread on the Dis.

How to post:
See the big box on the top on the screen. Type in whatever you want to tell people, as long as you keep it to 140 characters or less
Click update
Now everybody who is one your follow list will see what you have entered.
