We will be travelling to Orlando June 12th, and are planning on stopping overnight in/around Savannah or maybe a little closer, and we're wondering if anyone has any hotel suggestions for this area/areas right off the interstate.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

We stayed in Walterboro in Jan. at a Ramada. Not overly impressed but it was cheap and had a decent early breakfast for getting us back on the road. Picked up the coupon at the GA. welcome center. Have fun!

GA Exit 94 off I-95 is a good exit with a number of good roadside hotels and restaurants. It is on the southern border of Savannah so you'll technically be past the city already. You'll be about 4 1/2 hours from Orlando at this point. There's a Fairfield Inn, Best Western, LaQuinta, Quality Suites, Sleep Inn, Wingate Inn and some others too.

For food there's a Cracker Barrel, Perkins, Denny's, McDonalds and others.
