Can anyone get through to Disney?

Can't get through on the phone "all circuts are busy" all morning. And on line is very slow and show "room unavailble" for all rooms at POFQ and AKL for mid-October.

If this is all really true, the economy must be booming!

I don't know about "booming", lol, :lmao: I'd say more like people planning ahead to get the deals just in case!
 
I called at exactly 7am this morning, and after waiting 72 minutes, finally got to talk to a cast member. I then called back at 10:45, got the busy signal a couple of times, and then, after getting thru the automated part, talked to a cast member within 2 minutes. I didn't believe it when it said that it was a 2 minute wait, but it was right!

The website it def off. I think it's not able to keep up!! :confused3
It shows me the FL Res discount, but won't take once I add it to my cart. Here's to hoping I get through soon!!! :worship:

As usual...The Diz IT is totally overwhelmed on announcement day. I hafta say, I am not surprised one bit! But yet, we are suppose to be confident that all will be well when FP+ get greenlighted. :happytv:
 

Woo hoo, after being on hold for an hour, I was finally able to talk to someone. Now I am on another hold, because they are having system issues, which is understandable. Patience will pay off!

Not exactly.

There were no rooms available in my class, however I did upgrade and apply the discount. I saved $50 bucks.

If I had moved resorts, it would have been more like 1000.
 
Can't speak for the FD offer, but Orbitz is offerring some NICE room only offers, no hold, just online booking. I just got a steal on CSR. Use code HOTEL10 for an extra 10% discount.

I believe Travelosity is also offering a RO discount.

Do it fast, these were up yesterday as well, and gone by noon. They may not be back this time.
If anyone is interested, look in the code threads for the Travelocity $75 code that can be applied to RO discounts. They are offering even better rates at YC and BWI Villas than other sites for now...probably will not last long!

I played on both Orbitz and Travelocity for a while before biting the bullet so that I did not miss out. Both sites are much faster than Disney right now and have really good deals.
 
good heavens! I just got through and was told to call back in an hour because they are doing system upgrades. I mean really???? :confused3
 
I got through after an hour+ of trying and was sent to a rep within mins. However, the rep told me their system is totally down due to "enhancements" and they asked me to call back in a few hours.
 
I was on hold from 7-8:30am exactly, so 90 minutes total. Just keep trying!

I still haven't been able to get through, so I guess I will keep trying for now if their system is updating! After still playing around with the website, it now says that booking online is currently unavailable! LOL
 
When I was on the phone, they were having system problems. The rep I spoke to said when she arrived there was 300+ calls in the queue. When I booked last week, I got a preferred room at Port Orleans Riverside, but then when I called, it was no longer available with the free dining, so she changed me to a king bed room and saved $700! I know it's frustrating, but at the end it will be worth it. Good luck to everyone!

Enhancements here too.

I let my CM go quickly so he could share that info with the 1000 people waiting behind me.

He had no idea when the system would be back up again.
 
People are doing live updates on the FD thread the entire system crashed, so no phone and online reservations are having problems. Keep trying but I think everyone will be in the same boat.
 
After 30 minutes of nonstop calling, I finally got through. I was only on hold about 15 minutes. Was easily able to modify my existing reservation to include the free dining plan, which knocked about $1000 off my trip price!
