Sorry if this has been asked before but if i`m right people staying on property can book ADRs 100 days in advance. We`ve booked with Thomas Cook on the free dining plan. We are staying in the Wilderness Lodge, but I`m sure I read somewhere on here that you need a reference number from Disney to take advantage of the extra 10 days.

We haven`t got a reference number so does that mean we can only book 90 days in advance.

Sorry if this is a daft question but I`m confused.

My understanding of the 90 / 10 meant that if you are staying 12 days and your first day is Dec 1. You can call 90 days before Dec 1 (the date of your first nights stay) and book diner reservations for Dec 1 and also for the next 9nights of your stay. (you dont have to call 10 days in a row to book ADR for each night of your stay).

I dont know if its correct but thats the way i always understood it to mean

Looks like i'm wrong (which is good). I just read a thread a little bit down the list and the poster is talking about making reservations at the "95" day window.

So i'm looking forward to hearing how this 90+10 works also. Anyone?

It is not 100 days before arrival: it is 90 days from your arrival date at a Disney resort (and it's figured as actual 90 days, not generic "3 months" - there are PS calculators available where you just put in your arrival date & it tells you what day to call.)When you call on your 90 day mark, you can book that day's reservations plus up to 9 additional days (for a total of 10 days) You must get your reservation confirmation number from your travel agent - if they still have difficulty pulling up your reservation, tell them it's a TA booking - should be able to pull it up anyway using your name, address, etc. It they still have trouble, ask for a supervisor...you will be able to book your own ADRs even when you have booked through a travel agent.

The advantage here is that a non-Disney resort guest can also call at 90 days before when they want a dinner reservation, but can only reserve for that one day...if they want a reservation for the next day of their vacation they have to call back the next day, and the next, and so on.

Thank you, make sense now.
That means I can phone and make ADRs 90 days before my arrival date and reserve up to 9days after, then 5 days later I can phone and make the rest.Think I could have worded that better but I think I`ve got the gist of it.

oh i guess i was right the first time.

Yes, you were. And the poster on that other thread was also correct. She called on her 90 day mark, and then was able to make reservations for days that were out 90, 91, 92, 93,94,95 and so on. The key is calling at 90 days from your check in day & then going forward from there.

If you put the actual days in a "for example" , the "95 days out" comment makes sense. So, for example, if you check in Sept 1, your 90 day mark is June 3. If you're staying in a Dis hotel you can call on June 3rd and get reservations for 9/1 (90 days away), and 9/2 (91 days away), and 9/3 (92 days away), and 9/4 (93 days away) and 9/5 (94 days away), and 9/6 (95 days away), and so on through 9/10. So yes, it's possible to get a reservation at 95 days out, but only if you're checking in 90 days from the day you're calling. Clear as mud, right:laughing:

Here's a link to a planning calculator to get your calling day at the 90 day mark for your arrival:

Are some restaurants (like CRT and CM) still strictly 90 days? This new system is so confusing:confused:
