Can anyone confirm ~ is Fantasmic really closed Jan 30-Feb 2?

I saw on All Ears that someone tried to make PS for the Fantasmic Dinner package and the CM told them that Fantasmic was closed for a short refurb from Jan 30 until Feb 2? Can anyone confirm this? Of course - I have a short trip planned from (yup - you guessed it) Jan 30-Feb 2 and I made my PS for Ohanas for 830 on my MGM night so I could see Fantasmic and then go and eat. I want to change that PS earlier if in fact Fantasmic is not running (but I hope it is - I love Fantasmic and really want my inlaws to get a chance to see it).

A friend of mine booked a Fantasmic dinner at H & V and was told that was right before it went down. I then called and was told it was H&V that was closing for rehab not Fantasmic.

I tried to book it for our trip, our dates are Jan. 29 thru Feb. 3, and was told that there would not be a fantasmic show during that time due to refurbishments. I wanted to book the dinner package at either Mama Melrose or Brown Derby. I even called back a few days later to make a change to my ADR's, and asked again, same thing. So, I'm guessing that it is the case. IF anyone hears anything different, let us know -- I'd love to see it, and I'm really disappointed it's not going on. I guess that's the price we pay for going in the off season...........

We'll be there then too so I'm hoping I can show it to my DF and her DS's who have never been to Disney.

I heard Test Track and Buzz will be closed then too.

Test Track will be closed 1/9/06 - 2/14/06. Space Ranger Spin will be closed 1/4/06 - 2/8/06. At least last time I heard.

Hollywood and Vine is closed for rehab those dates but the official schedule shows Fantasmic at 7pm each of those nights.
