Can anyone confirm? Disney gift cards

I just read a thread over on the DVC boards that a member got a report that the Disney stores are reporting an update to their registers that allow them to combine smaller denomination gift cards into one larger card. This would be awesome for all of us who utilize the grocery card reward programs! Can anyone confirm???

I have not tried recently, but the stores supposedly have been able to do this for sometime. The problem has been finding an employee that knew how to do it.

I called my local Disney store and they said "no". Anyone else????:confused

I will ask at work tomorrow (TDS). I never heard this, but I am rarely on register.

Whereas I just recently read a thread saying that all stores had finally STOPPED this, that it is now finally totally impossible.
